John McGeough and Anthony LamacchiaWe’re proud to announce that The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends named McGeough Lamacchia Realty one of the Top Real Estate Teams in America for the second year in a row. Our team rose in the Real Trends 500 report to number 53 in national rank for Real Estate Teams for 2011, up from number 59 in 2010.

McGeough Lamacchia Realty also made the Top 100 Real Estate Teams by Transaction Volume, at rank 93 with total sales of $76,981,596.00, an increase in volume of 24% from 2010. In January of this year, we announced we sold more homes in Massachusetts than any other agents or teams in 2011. With 322 sales under our team in MLS for 2011, we increased our sales 10% from 2010. We had additional sales in New Hampshire and Rhode Island, which resulted in a total of 397 closed transaction sides for the year.

Earlier this year, we expanded our office space by 1100 square feet in response to the increase in customers and sales. Plus we added another company vehicle to their fleet and hired additional employees. We have dedicated more time training their entire staff to ensure everyone would perform at the highest level.

These rankings reflect our commitment to helping more home buyers and home sellers in a challenging housing market, and it shows that we’re not just the top real estate agents in Massachusetts, but we’re one of the top real estate companies in the U.S.

John McGeough
